Congratulations to Mark Viau, WINNER of the 2010 Mopar Muscle Magazine True Street Challenge
"Mopar Muscle Magazine annually holds the True Street Challenge at Mopars At The Strip in March. This year's winner is Marc Viau and his 340 Demon. The jet-black car has a vintage-yet-custom look to it with filled-in sidemarkers and larger-than stock wheels, and the modifications don't end there. Under the hood, in the cabin, suspension, and trunk, pure custom details prevail in a factory-like manner. Marc debuted the Demon at last year's All-American Car Show & was selected "Most Beautiful Design" by Micheal Castiglione, designer of the new Challenger. Yeah, the Demon looks good. The judges at Mopar Muscle agree & also think it drives as well as it looks. Congratulations to Clubmemember Marc Viau on his Demon's prestigious win, to his team of painters, upholsterers, et al, and to Clubmember Aaron Bourdage, who played a big role in assisting Marc with fabrication and assembly." - Bob Gough, PentaGram Editor "Sorry, I know it is said to be rude to brag, but I just gotta! Go check out Mopar Muscle Magazine, September 2010. Page 56. The Marc Viau and Viau Motorsports black 1972 Dodge Demon that I worked on. Marc walked away with top honors in the 2010 True Street Challenge. The contest was held at the Mopars at the Strip show in Las Vegas in March of 2010. The cars (and owners) were tested on road worthiness, car show appeal, and drag strip prowess. In 2009, Marc and the Demon took 1st Place in the car show for his catagory at the Las Vegas show. I would like to publicly thank Marc for letting me a part of this project. Thanks, Marc!" - Club Member Aaron Bourdage "This year's winner was Marc Viau in his '72 Demon. His car embodies the goals of the True Street Challenge and was compliant on the road, consistemt at the track, and has an outstanding fit and finish that kept him in the top ranks in every catagory we tested in." - Kevin Diossi, Mopar Muscle Magazine
